TalksDr. Neal Pellis has worked in the science division of N.A.S.A. for several decades. He is available to provide educational talks to student or groups based on availability.
After spending years doing Cancer research, Dr. Pellis moved to studying the biological systems of humans during spaceflight. Space does not just cause problems with breathing. Humans have many micro-cellular functions that do not operate without the gravitational pull of the earth. Gravity is so much more important that most people realize because without it our immune systems shut down, cells stop functioning, and the human body ceases to function properly.
